What HR software actually costs in Cambodia
Humaneti starts at $2 per active employee per month. Here is the full arithmetic, including the parts vendors usually leave out — and an honest account of when we will not be your cheapest option.
The three plans, in full
Starter is $2 per active employee per month with no platform fee. Shop is $29 per month flat for up to five users. SME is a $49 monthly platform fee plus $5 per active employee. "Active" means someone who was actually on the payroll that month — a seasonal worker who did not work does not bill.
Work out your own number
Forty employees on Starter is $80 a month. The same forty on SME is $49 plus $200, so $249 — the difference buys the wider module set, not more seats. Under five users the Shop flat rate of $29 beats per-employee pricing outright. The crossover points are arithmetic, not negotiation, and they are published here so you can find yours without a sales call.
What to check in any quote you compare against
Per-user or per-employee — the two differ by a factor of ten in an organisation where only HR logs in. Whether the price is per month or billed annually up front. Whether implementation, data migration and training are included or quoted separately. Whether Khmer language support is standard or an add-on. Whether NSSF and Tax on Salary handling is included or is a "local compliance" line item. A headline rate that omits four of these is not a price.

When we will not be your cheapest option
If you have under ten staff and only need payslips, a spreadsheet is cheaper and we would rather you kept it. If you need one narrow function — attendance alone, say — a single-purpose tool will undercut a platform every time. And if another service is running an aggressive first-year discount, they will beat our list price this year; ask what the price becomes in year two before you decide on that basis. We publish our rates so that comparison is possible, not because we expect to win every one.
